How many Number of Variable Can show in Bubble?
A bubble chart displays the values of 3 numeric variables, where each observation’s data is shown by a bubble, while the horizontal and vertical positions of the bubble show the values of two other variables.
Below dataset has been used to design the bubble chart
Steps:
- First step to drag Country dimension in rows and salary in text option in Marks Area you will see the table format
- Then click on Show me option on right top corner and select bubble chart as marked in red box in below screenshot.
- After selection bubble chart from show me option you will see that Tableau will convert table into bubble chart as shown below and also it will drag country and Salary on desire place in Marks option.
- Now you can drag Gender dimension on Colour and text option on Marks area, it will separate the Female and Male bubble with different colours as shown below screenshot.
- If you want to change the sorting order by Country then right click on country option and the Sort option
- Once you will sort the bubble chart by salary field as show below image. bubble chart will get sorted by small bubble inside and bigger bubble outside of the circle.
