Introduction:
Pie chart is a circular statistical graphic presentation of numbers, which is divided into slices to demonstrate numerical proportion. In a pie chart, the length of each slice is proportional to the quantity it represents. in this article we will show you how you can create multiple Pie Chart in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Pie charts are very widely used in the business world and the mass media. Sometime, it is difficult to compare different sections of a given pie chart, or to compare data across different pie charts. Pie charts can be replaced in most cases by other plots such as the bar chart, dot plot, etc.
Steps: Stacked bar chart in SAP Analytics Cloud
Step 1:
- Start your story canvas and insert chart option in story body
- Blank chart layout look like as shown below image
- Right side you will see the window with Designer option which have all chart type option
- Select the Pie chart from More option in Chart structure as show below image
Step 2:
- Now you need to select the one measure, here we have selected total profit
- now you need to select the colors dimension on which you would like to show the pie slicers based on Dimensions values, So here we have selected the “item Type”
- As shown below image it shows the different items profits in % in different slice of Pie chart
Step 3:
- Now here you can change one Pie chart into multiple Pie chart by using SAP analytics cloud Trills functionality
- Trills meaning to show data in frames
- From below image you can see the how you can activate Trellis option from chart layout 2 dot and click on +Add > Trellis
Step 4:
- Now you can see Trellis option on the right side design window
- Select dimension on which you want to show multiple Pie Chart in SAP analytics Cloud.
- In below Image we have selected Region as Dimensions to show the multiple Pie chart
Finally you will see the Multiple Pie chart as shown above, you can change color and formation from styling option window and also can be sort from chart layout option.
